Refund Policy
Effective date: May 16, 2026
1. Subscription Charges
BookWave paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly cycle. All charges are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where a refund is required by law.
2. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
3. Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately through a secure checkout. We do not offer downgrades between paid plans; to move to a lower tier, cancel your subscription and subscribe to the plan you want once the current period ends. No refunds are issued for the time remaining on the plan you leave.
4. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support promptly with transaction details so we can investigate and resolve.
5. Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
